The ultimate power boat adventure - the passage of Bass Strait.
Starting at Hobart, Tasmania and crossing Bass Strait on the way to the mainland coast, the 2011 Bass Strait Rally has now been run as the first event in the new Challenge Series. This round followed the spectacular east coast of Tasmania, via Port Arthur, Freycinet Peninsula and the Bay of Fires, then on to Flinders Island and the northern Bass Strait islands, before heading on to Wilsons Promontory, where prolonged bad weather forced a premature wrapping up of the rally at Port Welshpool on the Victorian coast. For the competing teams, the 2011 Bass Strait Rally represented ten days of the best power boating excitement and adventure on the Australian power-boating calendar.
The next Bass Strait Rally will be in 2014. Register your interest now to be put on our mailing list for updates.
